KVM

Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) switching allow users to interface with multiple servers or computers from a single or remote station(s).

Typical Systems are Digital Multi User configurations set for 1 local user, 1, 2, 4 or 8 remote IP based users and provide connections to 8 to 64 computers/servers. Wiring from the computers to the KVM is Cat 5/5e/6. When helpful an additional extended local user may be built into the configuration. This extended local user must be within 1,000' of the KVM switch. Connections at each computer is via a Computer Interface Module (CIM) module. Other types of KVM are available for local only KVM and for analog systems.
